At Steelman’s Wharf, we tackled a complex multi-building condominium renovation involving failed cantilevered steel beams and steel columns. The original structural elements required replacement to maintain the integrity of the buildings. As part of the solution, we replaced the building envelope, installed new sliding doors, and reinforced the existing structure with newly designed cantilevered steel beams. To minimize disruption to the building’s occupants, we carefully installed the new beams within the old beams, ensuring the project was completed efficiently and safely. This approach allowed residents to remain in their homes while the work was being carried out, showcasing our commitment to minimizing downtime and maximizing occupant comfort.
